Hello.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Jodie, I am 21 years old and I have taken possibly the biggest step in my life and booked my flight to move to Melbourne, Australia.

Most people my age are thinking about moving out and getting their own place but my boyfriend, Lewis, and I are taking it a step further and moving half way across the world! We are leaving all family behind and going to Melbourne, a place we have never been to but we hope it will be a place where we can be happy and have a great life. We have 7 weeks to go until we fly and the days are going so fast I can't keep track!

I thought it would be a fun idea to blog about my experience of moving and to share with friends, family and anyone reading what it is really like to have a fresh start in a new place. I will also be vlogging a little bit so make sure to look out for those. I hope you enjoy coming along on my journey with me and that I can inspire you to take your own leap into moving abroad or doing anything that it is you want to do in your life.
